Phoenix Starliner Deckplan Pack (for Traveller)

Submitting something other than 3d for a change...

A few years ago I ran my first, and unfortunately last, Traveller sci-fi role-playing adventure I created for a group of gamers who'd normally be playing Pathfinder, (a game based on v.3.5 D&D) or Shadowrun, but when asked to take over the game master position for a while, I instead tried to run a Traveller game because I always liked Traveller and no one ever would play it. But needless to say my gamer friends found it boring and didn't like the game system. I was using Mongoose Traveller at the time which is like one of the simplest RPGs to play, but they just couldn't get into it and after 3 sessions they all bailed on me.

Anyway I recently found a folder on my computer full of my old Traveller game notes and something I thought I trashed a while back - a bunch of meticulous deckplans I made in Adobe Illustrator for the ship the PCs were using.  The adventure wasn't entirely my idea, I had borrowed quite a bit from a published adventure originally made for Traveller 4 (T4) which like most T4 material was god-awful, but I found it in a used book store for like $5 and used it to steal ideas on short notice.

In my adventure the PCs were victims of a highjacking, the ship they traveled on was hit by pirates and sent adrift, but they managed to bail out in an escape pod and later rescued by local some authorities. Because they lost everything in the highjacking, they tried to redeem themselves and bring the pirates to justice. After exploring the space station they were brought to they met a guy who owned a decrepit passenger liner turned cargo hauler who was looking for a new crew as his last group quit on him.

The deckplans are for the passenger liner called The Phoenix which was roughly football shaped. I never made a 3d model of, but if given more time I probably would have.

Anyway the plans are for the Phoenix, which I zipped into one file for convenient download - anyone who wants them can have them for personal use. Each plan is a .pdf file and I also include the .ai Abode Illustrator files so you can modify them or use the things I made in there - like beds, and staircases - for your own deckplans. There are more also a few more plans in the pack than just the ones illustrated above. I also have a text file with the ship's game statistics on it.
